CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, one of Cyprus’ most well-known and respected Telecommunications Providers with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and capable Test Automation Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant should have a minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in testing and quality assurance activities.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility of transformation testing plans.
- Designing automation and documentation of various testing types (E2E, regression and performances).
- Creating test automation application.
- execution of testing using a combination auto testing techniques.
- Ownership of testing environment .
- Improving proposals in technology, tools and process.
- Identifying, documenting and tracking software defects found during testing.
- Working closely with development team to ensure compliance of new software with testing automation tool.
- Being a part of a SCRUM team.
Key Skills/Experience:
- BSc (Bachelor) in Computing Science or Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Software Development is mandatory.
- Proven experience in testing and quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of Software QA Methodologies with experience in documenting Test plans and cases.
- Excellent knowledge of the English Language both written and oral, is necessary.
- An ability to work with short deadlines and under pressure.
- Professionalism and work ethic, Self-motivation and a desire to succeed.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with Test Automation Software will be considered an advantage.
