Limassol
Our client is an Advisory Services company looking for a Group Corporate Governance Assistant for their office in Limassol. The primary role is to provide administrative and clerical support to the Group Corporate Governance Manager to ensure efficient operation, to work closely with company secretaries of the group of companies and to function as a point of contact for, and dealing with, due diligence/KYC requests relating to the group of companies.
Responsibilities:
Providing statutory information to support third party (e.g. bank, law firm, service provider) due diligence, e.g. in case of bank account opening requests or engagement of third parties
Ensuring due diligence held on senior management is up-to-date and arrange for renewal, certification/notarization/attestation where necessary;
Keep an accurate record of due diligence being provided in accordance with GDPR
Maintaining and managing accurate statutory records, including registers of shareholders, directors and company secretaries as well as authorized signatories
Updating and creating structure charts on Visio
Assisting the Group of companies with filing of contracts, maintaining a record of and monitoring all existing agreements
Assisting in the preparation and maintaining of templates for board resolutions, minutes, invitations, directors' consent and resignation letters
Assisting in circulation and filing of corporate documents and obtaining consent/signatures and, where required, submitting to corporate registers or other third parties
Undertaking annual data checks on the Group of companies for sign off by directors
Undertaking all other relevant admin support the Corporate Governance Manager and contacts in the Group
Requirements:
Strong administration skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven computer skills, including Word and Excel
Proficient in database management, Visio and record-keeping
Effective written communication skills
Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills which includes the ability to plan work, prioritise and juggle competing demands, the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and the ability to gather and analyse information quickly and accurately
Experience working for a multi jurisdiction employer would be beneficial
Strong work ethic and the ability to address multiple tasks in a short time frame and being able to meet strict deadlines
Ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Confidence in liaising with members of the senior management
Ability to communicate and work well with colleagues in the local office and in other entities outside Cyprus
Offering support and flexibility where need
The working hours are a bit flexible. Either 8:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00 with 1 hour break.
The company is offering a salary is 1,000 - 1,400 Euros NET monthly plus 13th salary
