Job Description
On behalf of our client ,we are seeking to recruit a business Analyst.
Title: Senior Business Analyst:
To research, analyse, document, and propose solutions for large and/or complex financial projects and to prepare functional specifications.
Responsibilities
1. To collecting, understand, and transmit the business requirements for the project, and to translate those into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
2. To work with product management to document the purpose, the scope and requirements of the project.
3. To conduct extensive market research about the project and provide a summary of recommendations about the resources and possible enhancements.
4. To analyse and document business processes.
5. To document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain approval from Management on the specifications.
6. To provide a clear prospect of the project to the Application Architect and Development Team.
7. To provide the link between the management, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
8. To design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts.
9. Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
10. To submit weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
11. Initiates and inputs to shared project vision across the team.
Requirements:
1. 2 year relevant experience analysing and documenting complex business processes.
2. Strong knowledge of writing requirements specifications for Information Systems.
3. A proven track record in Software Development for at least 3 years.
4. End to end experience of the project lifecycle
5. Financial application background is a must (preferably FX)
6. Relevant experience interacting directly with end users.
7. Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
