The Company

Our client a Limassol based Financial Services company is a leading provider of foreign exchange trading services. Due to the expansion of our services we seek to recruit a dynamic individual as a Corporate Lawyer.

Job Description

The Corporate Lawyer, who will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, will be responsible for:
• providing legal advice to the Company, the management team and the Board of Directors for any corporate issues that may arise;
• drafting, revising, negotiating and concluding agreements;

• liaising directly with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies and other national and international governmental authorities;
• serving as the primary legal support in relation to intellectual property (including trademark)

issues;

• ensuring the legality of business practices;

• providing legal opinions; and

• undertaking any ad-hoc projects, if required.



Qualifications & Experience

• Holder of University degree in Law (LLB) and a Member of the ‘Cyprus Bar Association’; a

Master’s degree (LLM) will be considered as advantageous.

• A minimum of 5 years of Corporate Law experience; previous experience in the financial services sector will be considered as advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English.

• Computer literate.

• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday from 9am - 6pm




Remuneration and Benefits

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to his/her qualifications and experience. The budgeted monthly salary for this position is 3,000 to 4,000 Euros but is always based on applicant’s qualifications and experience.
